Let's talk blogs.
Specifically, business blogs used to enhance SEO.

See this ad? It was written a good fifty years ago by Bill Bernbach—the Louis Armstrong, Thomas Edison and Steve Jobs of advertising. On Madison Avenue, his word was gospel. And what he said then is still applicable today, even in the age of Google. Maybe even more so, today. For Bill Bernbach, the quality of the ad reflected the quality of the product. To him, they were one and the same.
Read that first line again: "Is this ad some kind of trick?"
That's what we're talking about here. Because a huge amount of marketing effort on the Internet is all about tricking the Internet. Tricking the Search Engines. Tricking Google.
Okay, sure, some people wouldn't use the word 'tricking'. They might call it out-maneuvering, or out-competing, out-spending, or out-smarting, and there's nothing wrong with that. You've got to play the game and sometimes others make the rules that we all have to play by.
But sometimes, Google says STOP. Sometimes, Google says, You might call it out-maneuvering, or out-competing, out-spending, or out-smarting, but to us, it looks like you're gaming the system—and we're all about 'Quality', not finagling. So—we've decided to change the rules. For everybody.
So—even if you're not trying to trick anyone, you can still lose. How? By simply appearing to be like all those who are using their Blogs primarily to enhance Search Engine Optimization instead of delivering an authoritative message.
I think I can help you to turn that potential negative into a big positive. It doesn't cost much. It could ehnace your sales. It might even encourage your in-house marketing staff to produce even more.
